I met Bill Fehr about a year and a half ago through some mutual friends in South End Charlotte. Around that time I reconnected with two former students, Scott Lazes and Kevin Beaty who were working on the Charlotte Video Project, an amazing website/You Tube channel highlighting the amazing artists and businesses in the Queen City via 100 short films. I knew I wanted to be a part of it as soon as I heard about it and this is my third contribution, the first being a live performance by my bros. Super Ape and the second being the Charlotte Dawn to Dusk time-lapse (the music was produced by two members of Super Ape, Chris Holston and Scott Slagle). It all finally came together with the score and sound written and produced by Jason Hausman of Hot Sake. This project truly embodies what the smARTlab is all about. Bringing artists together to meet and create together in a common creative space! Now on to the next project!
