Double Down the Movie
Double Down the Movie is a short film that follows the discoveries made by 26 cyclists on their adventure as they ride 220 miles from Charlotte, NC to Isle of Palms, SC in one day. The films inspiration came from director Bill Fehr’s two past personal experiences riding the Double Down. This visual piece accented by a musical journey attempts to convey what it feels like to be present in the individual physical body, the spiritual significance of that awareness and our place in the universe. The narrative was written after the actual event, which helped to more accurately document the ride experience by allowing certain subtly beautiful, synchronistic events to be captured.
